The height of safety
Macedon Ranges Shire council approached Anchor Safe with the urgent need to upgrade access to air conditioning units in the ceiling at Kyneton Town Hall. The existing form of access was disrupting the plaster and causing it to crack. As a heritage listed building, it was vital immediate action was taken to protect this long-term gathering place for the local community.
Delivering results from top to bottom
We started with a site visit to get a complete understanding of the project and the unique requirements of working with a heritage listed building. Our solution was a new high span walkway system. This new walkway spans 5m between structural supports, rather than resting on the ceiling – protecting the heritage plaster from any further damage and fortifying the access route for future maintenance workers.
Our full service approach offered the customer total ease. We managed the entire project from start to finish: removing and disposing of the existing walkway and installing the approved solution.
