Case Study: A safety solution that considers every angle

If you’re a property and facility manager, we understand you’re not just dealing with one building – but many all at once, and at many locations.

Ensuring your buildings are compliant and safe for your tenants is key – but there’s no cookie cutter solution. Each building must be assessed on its individual needs – and a ‘working safely at heights’ solution developed that suits.

We recently worked with property and facility management company CBRE to create a safer solution for their tenants.

Three large commercial properties on Gundah Road in Mount Kuring-Gai, NSW were lacking in safe roof access for maintenance. With three different tenants and varying heights from 9 metres to 12 metres, a complex solution that considered the specific needs of the properties was required.

Managing the entire design, supply and installation process, we put into place a system of ladders, fall arrest anchors and skylight protectors across all three buildings. Part of our plan included installing small angled ladders that allow access between the varied roof levels, and adding 170 fall arrest anchors for safe gutter cleaning.
