The height of safety

The Kyneton saleyards have been an asset to the township of Kyneton, generating around 10 million annually to the Macedon Ranges economy. With over 150 years of constant use, it was time the yards had an upgrade. The upgrades not only achieved compliance to the Australian standards but improved the safety and day to day operations of the saleyards.

Backed by our industry knowledge and capable operations team, we were able to work closely with the local council and the head contractor, to provide a compliant effective system for the new and improved sale yards. Drawing on previous experience we were able to design and install a system that caters for the unique needs of a demanding saleyard.

Delivering results from top to bottom

Anchor Safe designed a sophisticated elevated walkway and platform system that spanned the entire length of the sale yards . The elevated walkway systems were the perfect solution to give farmers and auctioneers an elevated view of livestock at Kyneton Sale Yards. Its lightweight aluminium design eliminated the need for cranage or heavy lifting, while the modular system provided a quick and straight-forward installation.

Our height safety technicians installed over 500m of elevated walkway & guardrail, 3 stairways & 3 step ladders.
